


Eye of the Arcane is the first game of it’s kind to track the timing of simultaneous events to break them down into deterministic and predictable steps. (basically the player can see time)
In this new genre, characters acting at the same time allows for the potential complex simultaneous interactions of real-time games but in a way that is entirely predictable to the player to also have the intensive and precise decision making of turn based games.


Functions act as modules to be directly inserted into each step of an action which provides a high degree of extensibility and integrated solutions for new actions and passive effects.
Prototyping and testing new experimental mechanics with this system is comparably faster and more cost effective than starting from scratch.
The setting is an exploration of how far I can twist reality while still remaining intuitive in order to provide and explore a truly unique narrative experience with trials and tribulations befitting for an alien universe.
